It’s been a good week. Super productive and not crazy busy at work and I’ve had plenty of times for friends, relaxation and yoga. I haven’t felt this caught up on life in a really long time. It’s nice.
Photos of late.
Single-serve pre-made pizza from Whole Foods. Exceeded my expectations.
I have been enjoying my first true strawberries of the season. You know, the kind that are perfectly sweet all on their own with no woody texture.
Salad al fresco. A mix of local lettuce, mixed greens and arugula with red pepper, cucumbers, artichokes, kalamata olives, tomatoes, pine nuts, feta and chicken with balsamic.
Sushi, wine and cookie dinner after sweating my freaking life away at yoga. I was able to practice three days in a row this week (for the first time in forever) and good lord! It was crazy hot on Wednesday.
Color coordinating my nails and my peanut butter jar. 😉
And finally…I had two submissions accepted to Tastespotting this week. I used to religiously submit my photos to this site when I blogged recipes but have gotten away from it. I was THRILLED when they accepted my grain-free, refined sugar free cupcakes and paleo banana bread today! 🙂
How has your week been? What has it required?
I need to try that coconut PB!!!
I totally thought you were going to show us a peanut butter sushi roll… Now that would be… INTERESTING – ha! Although I am sure there is some sort of weird creation like that somewhere. I just don’t ever think that salmon or hamachi will ever taste good with peanut butter – LOL!
I want that pizza and that peanut butter. Glad you’ve had a good week!
That peanut butter is SO good…I’ve gone through nearly an entire jar in one week (and mind you…it’s not the only open jar of nut butter in my pantry haha). That salad looks so yummy as well! This’ll sound weird, but the chicken on top looks so good…I often find the roast chicken breast at salad bars way too dry, but that looks juicy and so fresh!
Yes, that peanut butter is a must try! Thanks for turning me on to Tastespotting, new obsession! Glad to hear you are having some recoup time. 🙂
HA! I took a hot Vinyasa class on Wednesday too and it was so hot and humid, but it felt so darn good. It was one of those classes when you are in half moon and the sweat from your top hand is dripping into your face. LOVE IT! Glad you were able to squeeze so many classes in. Have a beautiful weekend!
Sushi after a sweataliscious yoga class is quite possibly the best thing ever. Seaweed salad tastes like spectacularly salty strands of heaven when you’re just a touch dehydrated from some epic yog-ing.
That sushi looks really good.
Good work on the yoga. Whenever I have a period where I don’t do any yoga, my first time back always reminds me how good it feels.
