We had a great time at the beach this weekend with our friends. After my long run Saturday, I spent the rest of the day relaxing on the beach and cooking a feast. I was so excited that we were all able to bring our dogs with us this weekend. Sullie had so much fun playing and even got a little beach time in herself.
She loves the ocean and made a beeline straight to the water and proceeded to swim and roll around in the sand. She was a cute wet mess at the end!
After puppy beach playtime we headed in and I got to work on a lowcountry boil.
We had quite a spread for dinner.

August has been a crazy month for us. Tons of travel and just general busyness. This beach weekend was the perfect way to end a busy month. We’re SO looking forward to next week’s three-day weekend. Counting down the minutes until GEORGIA BULLDOG KICKOFF!!! (As of right now it’s 5 days, 14 hours and 28 minutes! 😀 )

My boyfriend and I were in Athens this weekend for a triathlon he was doing. We stayed at the Holiday Inn right on UGA’s campus. It is such a beautiful town! I can see why you love your alma matter so much!
