I think one of the most difficult things about blogging on a daily basis is actually not finding the time for it but rather doing it regardless of what’s going on in your life. Being human, most of you understand that things are constantly changing, ebbing and flowing. And in this current moment I am in a sea of that right now with my swimmies on and treading water as fast as I can to stay afloat as I navigate my way through career, family and life stuff. (We all have so much “stuff”!!!)

The beautiful reality is that I will not drown. I actually love to swim and I continue to discover over and over and over again that when I go with the current that life is directing me in, the right things happen. Lots to update y’all on soon so hang with me. Time will be right when it’s right!
So speaking of life lately…
I had to make a super fun trip to the license plate office on the Monday after a long weekend. The line was long but we got business taken care of. I am TERRIBLE about procrastinating on this kind of stuff so I was pleased to knock it out.
I rewarded myself with a trip to ALDI since it’s on the way home. I picked up a few of my favorite staples including their amazing flax flatbread, cheeses, chocolate, prosciutto, nets and a few other things.
I did a quick rough photo shoot today for a yoga advanced asana variations, arm balances and inversions project I’m thinking about working on. It is not fun to bust out these poses when you are not warm.
Stayed at the studio after I got the shots, taught and took and then picked up a venti iced coffee on the way home. Clearly, Sullie needed it more than her momma! Look at that pathetic face!
Dinner tonight was a burger with pimento cheese. I’ve been craving one for weeks and it was time to give into it!
When’s the last time you had a burger? What kind was it?
man or man, i’ve been craving a good burger for so long! This did not help 😉 Your post reminds me of Finding Nemo.. “just keep swimming, just keep swimming”
corny but cute
Janine
that’s totally what went through my head when i wrote it too!
Wow, your arm pose is beautiful! Ism working on some and hope to look half as amazing as you some day.
thank you so much brynn.
I’ve had too many burgers to count over the past month. I blame pregnancy cravings, plus wanting all the pickles. 😉 The last one I had was on the 4th when we grilled out with family. So good!
keep eating them girl! that’s what baby wants! 🙂
I so hear you on the keeping up with blogging while dealing with life. It isn’t easy at all! In fact, my close friends who follow my blog can even tell if I am having an off day, if something is wrong or if I am dealing with something because it comes out in my words without me even realizing….I haven’t had a burger now in a few years and oddly enough, I don’t crave them! I do crave the onion rings that go with burgers and will never get enough of them.
i can totally relate meredith. it is difficult to do!
Did you get your new car? Sullie is so adorable!
yep, a couple of months ago. bought a used small suv from a yoga friend!
I LOVE burgers! The last time I had one was a couple of weeks ago from Beck’s Prime. I went all out with that one and it was worth every single bite. It was also a good cure to too much fun the night before. 😉 Have a beautiful day! XOXO
I love Aldi! You can get such great deals! We had burgers for Fourth of July, and I made mine a guacamole burger!
guacamole makes everything better!
I love how you explained the “place” you are in right now…I am right there with ya! With our big move coming up, there is a LOT that needs to get done before the move in the midst of regular life and it’s a bit overwhelming at times. You are so right…that the hardest part about blogging is putting in the time to write the post. I feel like I have so many ideas and not enough hours in the day to get them all done. I’m learning to be ok with that…but it’s hard! Can’t wait to hear about your life updates and I’m so glad to know that I’m not the only one “swimming” out there 🙂
I recently stumbled upon “Garden Burger, Black Bean Chipotle” at the super market and they’re amazing! I have yet to try the other varieties but highly recommend this one. I had it in a roll up with tomatoes and avocado.
thanks for the head’s up. love your serving style!
What’s your burger recipe?
i ate this out at a restaurant!
