Good morning and merry Christmas Eve! I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and feeling happy and loved.
My Christmas Eve started with a 6 a.m. wake-up call so I could get over to the mall to teach an early morning in-store class at Lululemon.
It was a little weird to be in the mall before the craziness of last-minute Christmas Eve shopping commenced.
It was so empty and quiet!
Today’s class marked the end of Lululemon’s 24 days of complementary classes. I loved kicking off my Christmas Eve by giving back to others through yoga.
Much thanks to everyone who came out and practiced this morning…and put up with my holiday playlist and santa hat! 😛
Brunch upon arriving home was an egg scramble with sun dried tomatoes, spinach and mozzarella cheese along with cinnamon swirl toast and orange slices.
We have a little bit more Christmas shopping to wrap up so I’m off to experience the mall in full chaos mode. I’ll have to channel the empty quiet mall from this morning! Help me!
Brandon is going to the Panthers game this afternoon so I think I’m going to sneak off to a yoga class. I haven’t practiced since Monday. We are having dinner at his brother’s house tonight but I’m not sure what’s on the menu. Growing up my family did a “fancier” dinner on Christmas Eve. Always involving prime rib, popovers and my mom’s famous chocolate lady fingers dessert.
What Christmas Eve food traditions does your family have?
We are totally having prime rib tonight. I eat it about once a year, so it’s always a treat!
What a great way to start out the day! Sounds like a fun class 🙂 That egg scramble looks amazing!
I did a 7:30 AM yoga class this morning! Holy tight hips! We are having ham, roasted potatoes, and salad. Probably some cocktails and appetizers at the neighbors house first though…Merry Christmas! Enjoy!
That’s really cool you got to teach at Lululemon. I bet it was nice being in the mall at that hour, too!
We do a cocktail hour type Christmas eve (like finger food and small things) since we don’t have enough seating. This year’s theme is comfort food and I’m making your spinach stuffed meatloaf-just in mini single portion servings!
I love kicking off Christmas with some exercise. Have a great one!!
My aunt makes the best tourtiere (Quebec pork pie). My mom is going to bring us some slices when they come back from Maine. 🙂
Thanks for a great class this morning! My friends and I had a great time and we LOVED the playlist. It was so fun and a great way to start the Christmas weekend celebrations 🙂
