Hey there. I was really happy to see the squat/burpee ladder workout get such great feedback. A big thanks to everyone who liked and shared on Facebook and Pinterest. I make a lot of workouts available for free so that I’ve usually used in my own training or with clients so I really appreciate the help in getting the word out!
I promised to post the workout songs that have been motivating me lately and I’m super pumped to share this playlist. I 100% guarantee that it will keep you moving.
I try really hard to break out of the Top 40 stuff you hear all the time on the radio and find fun, different songs and remixes. I love every single song on this playlist but here are my favorites.
Outside by Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding. Y’all…I never make a playlist without Ellie!
Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon. So fun and lighthearted. You’ll be singing this song all day.
A Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay (Hardwell Remix). A Sky Full of Stars is definitely one of my top 5 songs of 2015 and this remix will make you want to dance while you’re working out!
Keep Your Eyes Open by NEEDTOBREATHE. This song has been on every one of my running playlists for the last couple of months. Listen to the words!
Tell me what songs have been on your running playlist lately? Any artists that you ALWAYS include?
This came at a perfect time! I’m making my race playlist now and needed a few more songs.
I only listen to music when on a treadmill so I’ve had the same running playlist since april of 2010 and LOVE the first four songs on it: Gnarls Barkley Gone Daddy Gone, H.I.M. Right Here in My Arms, Sick Puppies You’re Going Down, and Killswitch Engage Starting Over. When I started running I needed songs that started fast right at the beginning, kept up the pace throughout, and had little to no fade at the end. These four did that for me and I still love listening to them now whenever I’m on a treadmill!!
Thanks for the great music recommendations!
Woo I love these! I just downloaded Spotify premium, so I can listen to these! I love Sky Full of Stars!
I haven’t updated my playlist because I have been choosing Pandora stations to mix things up for me. I get so bored with my songs!
Fire in the Hamptons- “Crystalize”- such an upbeat tune. AND, not for running, but KS Rhoads for yoga. His music is perfect for longer flow sequences. Love his album “The Wilderness” and especially ‘River of Suffering’ for yoga. It’s not a new album, but I’ve added his songs to many of my yoga playlists.
Thanks for sharing this playlist! I usually include Passion Pit
Perfect timing for making my race playlist! Thank you for this and perfect songs!
Waves-Mr Probz
I Got U -Duke Dumont
Bang Bang-Joe Cuba
use me -bill withers
The line techs love these
Anyone know how to start getting some good music without paying a fortune by downloading each song from iTunes? I wish there was a way I could use your playlist but there isn’t a way to download that is there? I just have a nano so I can’t make a playlist from pandora.
Thanks,
Terri
