Hi and happy Tuesday!
I haven’t updated on day-to-day so here’s a look at the usual…workouts, food and Sullie! 🙂
The Workouts
Nothing too remarkable. A couple of yoga practices, a run and a rest day.
The Food
Omelet with brie, sundried tomatoes and spinach topped with chopped fresh herbs. Turkey bacon and fruit on the side.
Pumpkin overnight oats with oats, almond milk, plain greek yogurt, pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin and banana topped with sunflower seed butter.
Lunch salad  with mixed greens and spinach, prosciutto, avocado, edamame, artichoke hearts, goat cheese and glazed pecans.
Speaking of glazed pecans…I whipped some up Sunday night to enjoy on salads this week.
Another salad with mixed greens, avocado, goat cheese, dried cranberries, glazed pecans and chicken breast with homemade balsamic vinaigrette.
Yummy, yummy dinner of roasted cauliflower, baked sea bass and salad. The sea bass was on major sale at the grocery and was a great treat. So buttery and rich!
And I baked an apple cake! They are one of my most favorite fall desserts.
Sullie
I made a trip to Home Depot on Sunday to pick up pumpkins and mums. Sullie was clearly thrilled about helping me decorate the front porch. I am always amazed by the ways she makes herself comfortable!

Inspiration for your week. I am loving Brene Brown’s book, Daring Greatly.
That salad looks amazing – goat cheese and cranberries are one of my favorite combinations!

That apple cake looks amazing! It’s apple season in upstate NY, and I am loving all of the varieties. Can you share the recipe?
i need to test it one more time with some modifications but will hopefully post this weekend!
WOW look at you in the headstand! That’s amazing! All the food looks gorgeous too…Thanks for tagging me again in your last post. I’m sharing my answers tomorrow! XOXO
loved your post!!!
I bought some sea bass last week and it is so good! Definitely my favorite fish.
Mmmm yummy eats! I have been loving pumpkin overnight oats and smoothies. I have never tried sea bass, but it looks (and sounds!) delicious! I will have to look for some at a store near me.
I’m always amazed at the crazy positions my doggies find comfortable too! So funny. And why do I never buy cauliflower at the market? Thanks for the reminder : )
i don’t buy it regularly either but it’s so good when i do!
The food you post always looks amazing! Also I love that yoga pose. Did you transition into that pose from a tripod headstand?
yes, i slowly moved my arms out one at a time. you have to really engage your core and squeeze your inner thighs…and breathe. it’s a totally different way of balancing!
Love Brene Brown! Got Daring Greatly, need to start reading it.
i’m listening to the audiobook!
Where can I get the recipe for that apple cake???! My husband would LOVE that!
i need to test it again this weekend with a few modifications. will hopefully post the recipe soon!
Apple cake looks delish – Sullie adorable!

Can you share your glazed pecans recipe? I struck out the last time I tried to make them.
Thanks for sharing that Brene Brown quote. I had to fight my way through work today and reading that was just what I needed to hear before heading off to bed. Hoping I can turn off thoughts of work and come back to me tonight.
Mmm that sea bass looks amazing! And so does the apple cake. Do you have a recipe for the cake? Awesome inversions too!
I’m loving that purple shirt!! Is it lulu lemon?
