Soup. Specifically Earth Fare’s Carrot Ginger. Addicted. I am so cold natured and once it gets cold out all I want is hot. Hot soup. Hot oatmeal. Hot yoga. Hot showers.
M83. Brandon left this French band’s CD in my car and I am obsessed. Some of it is a little mainstream but most of it is ambient/chill type music and I can’t stop listening to it. Over and over and over again.
Child’s pose. The 62 day yoga challenge has taught me a new appreciation for this pose…and taking it frequently in practice!
Awake tea with vanilla soy. Going along with my love for all things hot…I have been drinking hot tea constantly. I drink all of my hot tea “plain” – no sugar or milk – except for Tazo Awake Tea. I love it with a splash of vanilla soy.
Meditations from the Mat. I have been seeking some outside inspiration for my practice and teaching. The 62 day challenge seemed like a perfect time to commit to doing some reading. I just started Meditations from the Mat with the goal of doing a little bit of reading every day and it’s wonderful so far. I’m only a few days in but it’s giving me a lot to think about already.
Mossimo V-Neck Pocket Tee from Target. These Ts are only $8 and super soft and comfortable. They are perfect to throw on after showering at the gym/yoga studio or when I’m hanging around the house. I also love the long-sleeved tissue tee…and their camis. Everything is super cheap and comfy.
What have you been loving lately?
I’m loving your Banana Muffin recipe lately! Just baked a batch this morning. It’s a favorite pre-workout snack of mine…perfect with some crunchy peanut butter!
p.s. The M83 album is on sale at Amazon.com for $1.99 (digital download)!!
Target pocket tees and tissue tees are amazing. I love layering them and they are always a winter staple for me. I am going to have to check out that book as I love daily devotional/meditations to get in a routine of daily inspiration and centered thoughts.
Vanilla soy is the best! I have been loving silk eggnog too. SO good!
Love target tees. 🙂 Actually I love target everything. Ha. I am also especially loving this colder weather we are getting in Houston, Christmas movies on tv and lights that are starting to pop up in my neighborhood, and the fact that we find out the sex of our baby on Dec 20th!
I have that Target tee in about every color! Love it1
ps- @Becca, thank you SO much for posting that the cd is on sale at Amazon! I was literally about to pay $15 for it on iTunes! Saved me $13!! 🙂
oops, meant: Love it!!
I’m obsessed with hot tea right now too, I have a cup when I get up, one when I get home from work and then a cup of sleepy time tea before bed.
Good tip with the tees! And I’m with you on the soup. I have often said that if I could only eat one thing forever more, that’s what it would be (which I suppose is a bit unfair because there are so many kinds).
Loving Trader Joes Pumpkin butter in my oatmeal, Good Earth’s Sweet and Spicy tea, Earth Fare’s Lentil Soup, and of course your blog!
I am digging M83 as well! Right now I am loving my super soft Gap Body leggings. I need a pair for every day!
Ooooo I need to download M83! Got any other music suggestions?
I have that Target tee in multiple colors. I actually have quite a few Mossimo things- hoodies, shoes, etc. Love me some Target clothes. I’ve had some of them for years and I’m shocked at how well they’ve held up!
I’m going to check out that book. I’m always looking for ideas for readings at the end of class.
I absolutely LOVE Meditations from the Mat. It’s so inspiring. Rolf Gates has such a beautiful mind and spirit.
Just found M83 on grooveshark and working away this afternoon to the album you mentioned. Thanks, Jen!
i’ll have to give the M83 another try. anyone reading anything good? Just finished the Steve Jobs biography and loved it. Hunger Games trilogy was amazing. What next??
I love Target t-shirts too!
I’m with Heather, I love love love those shirts, soft and cheap!
I”m also loving my Levi’s jeans I got online, you can pick your shape (me with no booty) and the length (I’m 6 foot) and they fit perfectly.
I also love child’s pose with legs spread (like your doing in the picture) I had never done it that way and you showed it a couple months back and I love the stretch I get.
Oh I love Rolf too. He is my teacher for my 200 hour training. We have a weekend coming up and I am so excited to see him again – he’s even better in person.
I am loving pumpkin smoothies (recipe from the blog Oh She Glows) and pumpkin spice soy milk in coffee. I am also loving hot yoga, hot tea, and SLEEPING. And your blog. I am just so impressed by how you live your yoga and it makes me happy each time I read it. Thank you so much!!
Namaste
I CANNOT stop listening to M83. Their lastest album is genius. Love love. Also I can’t get enough Pumpkin Spice coffee from Dunkin, discovering old TV show on Netflix…hello, Weeds, and anticipating Christmas!!
