The girls and I had a little photo shoot today.
They were feeling super playful and sharing toys in the living room this afternoon. I was cracking up over their open hips. Check them both out in frog pose here! 🙂
I definitely have little yoga dogs on my hands!
Can you believe how big Zoey has gotten?
I’m so happy they’re both still getting along and enjoying each others company.
I did a restock trip at Whole Foods today and took photos of what I bought to share with y’all. Like I’ve mentioned before, I rotate pretty evenly between Trader Joe’s, ALDI, Whole Foods, Harris Teeter and Publix. This week was a Whole Foods trip.
Fruits…lots of bananas (I have to get enough for snacking and freezing for smoothies. We go through a LOT of bananas!), campari tomatoes, raspberries, avocado, cherries (<– so sweet!) and unpictured frozen strawberries and pineapple for smoothies.
Veggies…super greens salad mix, bok choy, kale, cilantro, beets, cucumber, eggplant, cauliflower.
Cheese and lunch meat…shredded mozzarella, goat cheese, feta and a pound of herbed turkey breast from Applegate Farms.
Meats…organic ground turkey and bone in chicken breasts.
Misc…Rudi’s Organic Multigrain Wraps (love these wraps), Cedars Sundried Tomato and Basil Hummus (love this brand of hummus), dried cranberries, almond milk, David’s kosher salt (fave brand) and toasted pine nut couscous.
Salty and sweet snacks…Salt & Vinegar Pop Chips, Baked Lentil Chips (first time trying!) and Taza Chocolate Mexicano Salted Almond. If you haven’t tried this brand of chocolate you must…best ever! Pricy but I promise it’s worth it.
All came in around $120.
What are your favorite salty snacks? Any favorite chocolate brands/bars to share?
looks like a lot of good food. I am kind of surprised that you don’t eat more seasonally. I wish more ppl did – it would be way better for the environment, and the real secret is that food tastes better in season!!!
Hey Trish! Great point. I actually love the farmers market and eating as locally and as seasonally as possible…for years it was a near weekly stop for me year round. My schedule got a little crazy with teaching and prevented me from going on Saturdays for a while but I just cut back on my weekend teaching and hope to incorporate that back into my routine! 🙂
That must’ve taken forever to get such photos of them! My dog is so resistant.
Haha…I’m like the doggie paparazzi! 🙂
What a coincidence. My husband brought home some Taza chocolate last week for the first time. Omg! Life changing, lol.
So good, right!? 🙂
Yes! I need to buy more ASAP!
Trader Joe’s used to sell a (MUCH CHEAPER) version of that chocolate and it was amazing, but it quickly got discontinued and I haven’t seen anything similar since… sad face!
Those salt and vinegar pop chips never last long in my house. I can’t keep my hand out of the bag…love them!
I’ve tried all of the other flavors but this is my first time trying salt & vinegar. I’m excited!
I love to see grocery hauls. Thanks for posting.
whole foods has such a great chocolate selection. we picked up an icelandic brand and the bar had heath in it — such a splurge! but the great thing about paying $5 for a chocolate bar is that it is much easier to eat just one square!
Ha! So true. That sounds delicious!
I LOVE “Food Should Taste Good” products…Their chips are salty and have great texture. I do not like flimsy tortilla chips…LOL. Zoey is a BIG girl now! Lucy totally has yoga hips too…XOXO
I agree. Food Should Taste Good chips are amazing!
Grocery hauls are my favorite kind of posts!! <3
My favorite salty snacks are tortilla chips with salsa. As for chocolate bars…I really can say I’ve never turned my nose up at a bar! But I do love the Lake Champlain and the Chocoperfection brands.
I’ve never tried Chocoperfection but Lake Champlain is delicious!
So freaking cute! Whole Foods is life!
