Hello and happy weekend. I’m writing this post from my hotel bed in Tennessee while watching Great British Baking Show on Netflix and drinking Tazo Dream Tea (highly recommend). I’m REALLY excited about reading and going to sleep after I finish writing this post. I’m here for weekend four of our 200-hour yoga teacher training at VIDA Hot Yoga. I have been here every other weekend (the weekends I don’t have Finn) since the training kicked off in mid-January. The travel has been a bit of a grind but I love being here and doing this work so it’s 100% worth it.
I am missing the home team a little extra this weekend. Love Zoey’s sweet smile and crooked teeth in this one so much.
And here’s Benji boy lounging on his place. Both of the dogs enjoy this cot and I find them on it all the time. I think it’s because it’s a lot cooler than a traditional dog bed. This cooling elevated pet bed from Amazon Basics has over 23,000 good reviews if you’d like to try one for your dog!
I cannot WAIT to see this boy when I get home tomorrow evening. It’s been raining so much in Charlotte that we got him a pair of rain boots. I was happily surprised to discover that he likes wearing them.
Last week was a very active week for me on the movement front. I filmed four workouts for Fit Revolution and also taught a power yoga and a strength/HIIT class one day. I’ve made sure to balance it out with a lot of rest. Here’s the breakdown of how it happened:
- Sunday: REST
- Monday: taught 60-minute hot power yoga (I did the practice with them which I typically never do but have done more often in COVID times)
- Tuesday: taught 60-minute strength/HIIT class
- Wednesday: filmed 60-minute power yoga class and 45-minute strength class for Fit Revolution
- Thursday: filmed 60-minute half power/half deep stretch class and 40-minute strength class for Fit Revolution
- Friday: REST
- Saturday: REST
Remember, you can get a 14-day FREE trial of Fit Revolution if you’d like to check it out and stream full classes with me on demand! Use code JENEDDINS for 25% off your first month after the free trial! 🙂
A few food things that I’m loving right now…
Oh my goodness, you must must must try the siggi’s triple cream yogurt. It’s 9% milk fat and so crazy creamy. The vanilla flavor only has 8g of sugar.
Clearly I have been living under a rock because I just got my first jar of Mike’s Hot Honey at The Fresh Market last week. I asked for suggestions on how to eat it on Instagram and got some great ideas. Here are a few of them.
- On pizza, especially pepperoni. This was hands-down the most popular suggestion.
- Air fried panko chicken
- Add to tea
- On yogurt parfaits
- On roasted carrots
- In homemade dressings
- On grilled meats
- With sourdough bread
- On lasagna
- With cheese and crackers or on a charcuterie board (this is how I tried it the first time)
- Ciabatta with fresh ricotta and prosciutto (drooling)
- On barbecue
- On roasted brussel sprouts
- On wings
Pretty sure this is going to be my new favorite thing. I’ll keep you posted on how I end up using it!
The Wild Friends Almond Cashew Super Butter with honey, chia and flax is DELICIOUS. The taste is amazing and the texture is so drippy and perfect for drizzling on yogurt or smoothie bowls.
This bowl has both the siggi’s triple cream yogurt and the Wild Friend’s Almond Cashew Super Butter. Adding those two things to my yogurt bowl really took it to the next level of tastiness.
One more reminder to try the Tazo Dream Tea!
And with that I am going to shut it down and get to sleep. We start at 10p tomorrow and I have a long day of training followed by a drive back to Charlotte. I’ll be back soon with a few recent eats and let me know if you happen to have any special requests for post topics this week! 🙂

Good post! The nut butter looks delicious!
I love the Numi brand herbal teas. Not a new product by any means, but I finally decided I like Blue Diamond Nut Thins! My favorite type of yogurt is Middle Eastern yogurt; it’s thick and tangy.
Post request- I’d love a post on your athletic shoe/sneaker collection. I always admire your shoes in your posts and Instagram, but can’t always tell the brand. Have a safe trip home!
Can the fit revolution workouts be downloaded or are they steam only?
They can be downloaded!
I’d love a post about your recent reads!!
Also do you have any go-to meatless meal or snack ideas?
Hey Jen! It’s Keeley from Wild Friends – thank you for the shout out, so glad you’re loving the Almond Cashew 🙂 Happy weekend!
You’re so welcome! Forever a fan!
I ordered the nut butter and about to order the tea. I love new food finds especially during a pandemic. I love Trader Joe’s Well Rested Tea. My fave snack of late is Mary’s everything crackers with Ithaca’s buffalo ranch hummus.
So agree with you on new food + the pandemic. It’s the little joys, right!? That hummus sounds amazing!
Ooh i haven’t seen the Tazo dream tea! I’ve been having the celestial seasonings lavender sleepy time tea before bed, and it’s my favorite. Sometimes hard to find but Whole Foods always seems to have it on hand! Highly recommend!
Yes! Sleepy Time is a long-time staple for me. This was my first time trying the Dream tea and I don’t remember seeing it previously. Maybe it’s a newer blend?
Great post! I need to try mikes hot honey and always looking for a new tea!
My favorite tea is Traditional Medicinals- throat coat.
Yes, that is a great tea choice! Especially if you’re under the weather!
