Do you like to walk when you travel to big cities?
I LOVE Barry’s Bootcamp. I attended a class when I was in San Francisco and thought it was a fantastic workout. I wish we had a Barry’s where I live!
Ditto! It was so good!
Sooo insanely jealous, Jen! New York is on the tippy top of my travel bucket list. I can’t wait to read your recap post and live vicariously through you! ๐
It’ll be up soon!! Maybe on multiple posts because there’s SO much to cover!
Can’t wait to hear how much fun you had! It’s been hot here but still a great city to explore ๐
It was hot but no where near what we’ve had in CLT so it was nice for us!
Looks like SUCH an amazing visit!! Love that you tracked your steps! I have always wanted to track my steps for a big walking trip like that….impressive ๐
Our iPhones did it automatically on the health app!
By the looks of your pictures on Instagram you seem to be having an awesome time!!! So happy for you (and jealous- I miss it already!). I used to look at my steps at the end of every day in the city and would go to bed with an added sense of satisfaction for walking so much.
We used it to justify all the sweets that we just had to try! I think we ended up around 45 miles by the end of the trip
I love to walk in a new big city! Makes room for all the goodies you eat!
Exactly!
Walking is totally the point of being in a city! You can get up close and personal with things you normally wouldn’t! Of course subway/metro rides are an experience must too!
Yes, an “experience” is definitely the best way to say it. Saw a little bit of everything.
Love walking and running around new cities! It is so much more fun…So awesome that someone recognized you. It happened to me during a half marathon and I will never forget it. How good was that NYC pizza? Nom Nom!
The pizza was to DIE for!
Big cities are my favorite!! New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, you name it!! International cities such as Rome, Paris, London and Barcelona are gorgeous too!
love to run and walk in a city ! my friend wore her fitbit on a recent trip to seattle she and i took and one day we clocked more than 15k steps. all just walking around and most before 3pm. i loved your instagramming of eating your way through NYC. that’s totally how i think of it too !
Plenty more pictures of our NY eats to come on the blog! We had to balance our workouts and walking with a few sweet treats!
Where did y’all end up taking a yoga class? ๐
y7 yoga in soho…review to come!
