I’m in total couch recovery mode right now. Tuesdays do me in every time. Today I taught four yoga classes, two yoga privates and BodyPump…and managed to squeeze in my own 90 minute practice.
The day started with a 5:45 a.m. wake up call for a 7 a.m. class at Charlotte Athletic Club. I made a beeline out of there to get to Y2 to sub the 8:10. After class I took the 9:15 so that I could kick off day one of the 62 day yoga challenge!
I made it home around 11 for a shower and lunch. Peanut butter, honey and banana with grapes. The break was short and I was headed back uptown for classes and yoga privates at 12:30, 2 and 3. After my privates it was back to Y2 to teach the 4:20 and then I ended my day at the Y to teach BodyPump. Class was great and I was SO happy to be doing something other than yoga! π
We just launched BodyPump 79. Full review to come!
I came Β home, poured a glass of wine, collapsed in a heap and allowed Brandon to send me off to the shower and feed me.
You read that right, I said “feed me.” He took my 4:20 class today and took pity on me as I dashed out of there saying, “We’ll figure out dinner after I finish BodyPump.” When I checked in after class he told me that dinner was all taken care of! I was one big ball of gratitude and I didn’t even care what it was!
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that he had concocted quite the creation. He did his own spin on shepard’sΒ pie – local ground beef, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, celery and tomato soup topped with pie crust and cheese. Seriously…he made this up! It was delicious. I made a salad for the side.
And I’m off to plan tomorrow’s AM yoga class. This is going to require extra time and creativity tonight because they are not getting off easy! Lots of challenges coming their way! π
Does your husband/significant other cook?
That dinner looks super tasty! π Your day looks so busy but it’s really great to see that you are filling your schedule in this new career – taking chances ftw!
My girlfriend doesn’t really cook. I provide the food in the relationship π
I wish my Hubby cooked. He is a great dish washer though π Sounds like a busy day!
My boyfriend went to cooking school, which I am so grateful for! I cannot even imagine having to do all of the cooking at home, we trade off cooking and doing the dishes.
my husband cooks all the time. thank god too because i burn toast π we have a good system, he likes to cook and i like to clean up!
You ARE wonder woman, π My husband will cook a couple things but never makes up a recipe. I can’t complain though because he does all the laundry and most of the cleaning. Win for me!
Aw, that is so cute that he made dinner!
He does sometimes and it usually suprises me! I wish he would more often though. I suppose I need to keep encouraging him when he does π
My husband cooks and he is amazing! He rarely uses a recipe and it always turn out fantastic. I am a little jealous of his skills π
Phew, what a busy busy day!! And what a great husband Brandon is. π That does sound like a delicious dinner!
David loves to cook and I love cooking with him.
Brandon is too sweet! I can’t tell you how many times I was too exhausted to cook when I was newly pregnant. I’d ask Jeff to take care of dinner and it was always pizza. π
Wine and a cooked dinner??? Sounds like a nice evening, and you deserved it!
Hubbs will take care of dinner happily, but it means grilled cheese or he picks up pizza, nothing fancy like Brandon’s concoction!
