This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Clorox. All opinions are 100% mine.
I’ve got a popular post topic coming for you today…laundry and dealing with unwelcome smells! This is seriously not a joke. Every time I write posts on dealing with smelly laundry (and I’ve written several over the years!), they get a ton of traffic and engagement. You guys have always been with me on dealing with smells due to sweaty workouts and dogs. Now that there’s a toddler in the mix, we’re taking stinky laundry to the next level!
I swear, between me running and teaching hot yoga and group strength, Zoey being Zoey and Finn being a busy toddler, it feels like I’m facing tough laundry challenges almost daily. The amount of laundry that I do for one adult, a toddler and a fur child is insane. I have quite the arsenal of detergents, softeners, stain treatments, etc.
I’m always game for trying new things to help with laundry, especially when it comes to set in stains and smells, so when the opportunity to partner with Clorox to try their new Fabric Sanitizer Spray came up, I was all for it!
CLOROX FABRIC SANITIZER SPRAY
Clorox Fabric Sanitizer is a new spray-on laundry additive that is great for sanitizing both stinky loads as well as for occasional accidents when just laundering is not enough (great for leaky diapers, blowouts, nighttime bedwetting, accidents of the human and fur kind, stomach bugs, etc.).
Here are some of my favorite features of Clorox Fabric Sanitizer:
- Bleach-free and color safe. There is zero bleach in this laundry spray and it’s safe to use on most washable colored fabrics.
- Kills 99.9% of odor-causing bacteria while also sanitizing and eliminating tough odors. Kills bacteria that laundry detergent leaves behind.
- Easy spray-on application.
SPRAY AND WAIT JUST 3 MINUTES
You know how sometimes you just have that one item that is funky and you just cannot get the smell out no matter how many times you wash it? Clorox Fabric Sanitizer is also PERFECT for those pieces, and it couldn’t be easier to use.
For laundry sanitization and to eliminate odors, spray affected area until completely covered, let stand for 3 minutes and wash with your favorite detergent as usual. It’s awesome for workout wear that has set-in bacteria and seems to start smelling the second you start sweating. (I know you know what I’m talking about!)
Clorox Fabric Sanitizer is also invaluable for the smelly toddler clothes that come with rolling around in the floor with dogs, playing in the mud or accidents.
A NEW STAPLE IN MY LAUNDRY LINEUP
I’m glad I was able to learn about Clorox Fabric Sanitizer through this partnership and I’m excited to have it as a new staple in my laundry lineup.
FIND CLOROX FABRIC SANITIZER AT WALMART
You can find Clorox Fabric Sanitizer in the laundry aisle at your local Walmart. It’s something I know you’ll want to add to your next Walmart Grocery pickup order!
30-MINUTE STRENGTH-BUILDING POWER YOGA FLOW
I always love to give you guys a little something extra on with partner posts so I thought this partnership with Clorox Fabric Sanitizer was a perfect time to share a sweaty, strength-building power yoga flow. I’ve received many requests lately for more yoga flows so I filmed this one for you. It’s designed to be focused on strength and a very powerful practice so expect to feel challenged. This is not a slow or restorative flow, you have been warned! It absolutely had me sweating and shaking and I hope you love it!
If you do the flow, be sure to report back and let me know what you thought!
QUESTIONS
What is your biggest laundry challenge?
Do you deal with smell management? If so, what’s the biggest culprit?
Would love to hear your recent laundry horror stories! 🙂
That sounds good for my husbands smelly hockey laundry! Just an FYI right below the photo of Finn in the cart in front of the laundry stuff at the store you left in “can also use this photo if showing brands in above photo is an issue” which is probably a note for someone and not intended to be part of the post!!
Hi Jen,
I so hear you on the stinky laundry problem as a fellow yogi and fitness instructor. I did a bit of research and the same properties that make our synthetic workout wear breathable and stretchy also make them resistant to soap. Bacteria can really take up long term residence and multiply. My trick is to do one quick wash cycle with 1 cup of distilled white vinegar and follow up with a regular wash cycle with detergent and 1 cup of baking soda. Works beautifully and is cheap and natural. I swear that after this there is no lingering vinegar smell, and no body funk smell.
Thanks for the yoga video. I really like it when you film full workouts or yoga practices. Makes it much easier to follow along and stay motivated throughout. Love following you on your journey!

Great video! I love your flows. Since I’m not able to get to a studio right now I rotate between your flows (20 min., 30 min fast, fall yoga) and I am glad to have another one! Keep them coming! Thank you!
Awsome!
LOVE this powerflow!!! Thank you ☺
