It’s been quite a few weeks since I’ve shared a meal plan with you. First, I spent a week cooking with Terra’s Kitchen, then life got crazy and I took off for Florida and then I was lacking motivation to cook when I got home last week.
Honestly, last week was a blur of being back in my normal routine but feeling anything but normal. I hope this week is a little better.

Not the most outstanding week of workouts but it got the job done. Goal for next week is at least 3-4 yoga practices and to lift 2-3 times instead of only once. I’m going to have a de-load week on the running front before I gear up for a half-marathon the next weekend (more on that later) so I think my yoga and lifting goals should be manageable.
Handstand Press Progress
I’ll leave you with this Instagram video from my Power Yoga Flow account. While my workouts were pretty mediocre last week, I had a really special moment in my yoga practice. I finally made progress on my handstand press. I credit it mostly to letting go and dropping walls I’d built up in my head and heart.
(If you’re reading in a RSS reader, you’ll probably have to click through to the post to see the video.)
What’s on your meal plan this week? What meal are you most excited about?
What was the highlight of your workouts last week?
Your meal plans look delish! I need to get better at my meal planning. Amazing pace on your 15k. A big victory for me this week was running my 7 mile long run yesterday. I hadn’t run anything longer than a 10k in 10+ years! I felt surprisingly good throughout. Our bodies are amazing, aren’t they?
Glad you are starting to get back into your routine some. It’s so hard to do, but healing.
The weather was a little cooler here in the mountains last week, so running had an extra spring in my step.
Handstand press feels so impossible to me right now but it’s something I work on regularly. Congrats on your progress. You make it look so easy.
