TCBY is now offering a dairy-free frozen yogurt made from Silk Almond Milk. I swung by on my way home from working out, training and teaching at the gym tonight for a little sweet treat.
The featured flavor is Chocolate Almond and it comes in at just 27 calories per ounce.
I was surprised to find that it actually had a thick and creamy texture and a strong chocolate flavor. I decided to keep my froyo chocolate themed and topped my yogurt with Reese’s, Butterfinger, Heath bits, mochi and coconut. Yum! While I’m not dairy-free I appreciate the option and it’s great for all of those who do have dairy intolerances.

Coldplay’s new album Ghost Stories. If you have not listened to this album yet…get on it! It is hands down their BEST album in years. (Blame it on the “conscious uncoupling” of Chris and Gwyneth…a breakup will do it every time.) I have been playing the songs in my yoga class. I have many favorites from this album but top choices include Midnight and A Sky Full of Stars.

I keep it simple, I love just a chocolate vanilla swirl froyo. But if I get crazy with topings, it’s usually Heath bar or peanut butter cup.
I already bought the Coldplay album, but would throw a second raving review on the album for anyone who hasn’t checked it out. I haven’t stopped listening to it, it’s wonderful! And got me through a rough work day today 🙂

I like to keep my froyo toppings pretty simple – nuts, berries, and chocolate chips. Sometimes I’ll add a vanilla wafer or two for scooping!

So, my all time favorite topping are mochi.. cannot get enough of them, and they take on the flavor of whatever froyo you choose.
