I’m so happy that you enjoyed the tips for breaking into group exercise. I’m definitely planning on writing similar posts about personal training, yoga teacher training and the CrossFit certification process so stay tuned!
A photo heavy, Instagram heavy update to bring you up to speed on what life has been looking like over here.
Still on the smoothie kick. This one was awesome with kale, banana, mango, mixed berries, almond milk, Raw Organic Whey protein powder and a drizzle of agave. I know we’ve talked about green smoothies a lot around here but I wanted to reiterate that you really can’t taste the green, even with the kale. Just let it blend long enough to really break up and mix in with everything else.
I have no words.
Comfort food Friday night. Chicken fried tofu, balsamic brussels, squash casserole and black eyes peas.
Weekend wine.
I had an awesome Saturday morning. Lounging on the couch, black coffee, a killer 90-minute hot yoga class and brunch. Egg scramble with kale, tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, baby portobellos and goat cheese and carrot ginger soup.
If there is something to rest her chin on, she’s there. And yes, I need to blow the leaves on my back patio.
Today I put on jeans for the first time in 7 days. This is my life. I love wearing lulu every day but I really, really appreciate putting on “real” clothes now.
The reason I got dressed was to go to the mall in hopes of finding a new bathing suit for my upcoming vacation. I didn’t find a bathing suit but I found a red dress, new makeup from Laura Mercier and Godiva chocolate. I had really high hopes at Victoria’s Secret since they’re now carrying a nice selection of swim in store but sadly I didn’t have enough to fill any of the tops up. And there were so freaking pretty. Boo.
And now I leave you with this.
My inner Georgia bulldog dies! So cute. Hope you’re enjoying your weekend!
Cute clothes! I would love to see a fashion post 🙂
You should try Hollister swimwear or Target and occasionally Pacsun but its a bit more pricey.
Murphy does that with his chin on the bottom part of our coffee table. How can that be comfortable for them??
You are lovely and Sullie is sublime. Amen!
I ALWAYS have that problem with VS swimwear. I’ve got like nothing in the chest department lol, so what I do is go to PacSun (cheaper and very cute) and get a top, and find a bottom from VS. Much better selection for each! I’ve found that online VS has a few more options for tops too!
Sullie is adorable!!
By the way, are you part of the Godiva rewards program for the free monthly chocolate? I love their hazelnut open oyster! What flavor did you get?
Hope you have a great Sunday 🙂
Sullie is super adorable. I love seeing her photos, brightens my day!!!
Chicken fried tofu sounds delish!
i have that same bathing suit problem!
I can so relate to the putting on jeans thing. I sometimes “check in” with my jeans when I feel like I am living in my yoga pants. By checking in, I mean I put them on, make sure they still fit the same, look in the mirror, like what I see and then take them off and put the yoga pants back on. It is nice to get “dressed” though at least once a week…and the bikini tops – I can relate to that as well! Try Juicy Couture for bathing suits. They may cost a little more than Victorias Secret but they are so so cute, so flattering on top and last forever.
can’t take the sullie cuteness! hawk loves to rest his chin on anything too.
Oh gosh I just realized that I haven’t put on “normal” clothes in a WHOLE week! And I’m about to put on lulu’s to head out for a freezing run and will probably be in them all day today too. Oh geez! This is our lives though and I’m okay with it. Next weekend I get to dress up!
Love your outfit!! You look so cute!!! You should do a fashion blog post!
I’m in the beginning stages of studying for the CPT exam, so I would LOVE any tips you have to share!!! Love your scarf and your boots, too cute!
It might be worth a try to go online and check the vitorias secret swimsuits; they usually have more sizes (smaller and larger) online!
That smoothie mixture sounds really delicious.
